What is not covered

Unemployment benefits are available only to the age of 65 on average, and up to 70 in some cases. Medical conditions that existed in the 5 years before the protection began are not covered.

Also not covered is involuntary unemployment which was known about when the policy begins or which occurs within 30 days of the policy beginning. Full details of these and all other exclusions can be found in the policy certificate provided by your insurance company.

Insurance Duration:

This insurance contract lasts for the original term of your loan agreement as long as you do not terminate the insurance or your loan earlier or reach age 70 (65 for unemployment benefit). The insurance will also terminate if you are paid life, Critical Illness or Permanent Total Disability benefits.
