Policy coverage for vehicles & drivers

If you are driving a vehicle on the public highway in the United Kingdom there is a legal requirement upon you to have insurance. The minimum level of insurance cover required is third party insurance. This provides insurance cover in the event that the vehicle that you are driving causes injury, loss or damage to a third party. The third party can either be a person or persons or it can be in respect of physical property, i.e. someone else's vehicle.

The consequences of being involved in an accident and being found to have inadequate or worse still no insurance cover are serious. Not only are you and or your business breaking the law you are also opening yourself up to a potentially significant and disastrous financial claim against yourself or your company. It is therefore vital that you take out UK can insurance before driving a vehicle on the public highway whether this be for business or fopr pleasure.

There are many insurers in the UK who wil provide not only the minimum requirement of third party insurance cover but also wider cover options such as accidental damage, theft cover and windscreen cover amongst others.
